Theatre-loving guests staying at an Oxfordshire B&B this winter will be able to experience a fantastic production of a well-known fairytale in the county.

Oxfordshire Touring Theatre Company will bring their production of Hansel and Gretel to a selection of villages around the county, reports the Oxford Times.

The iconic fairytale depicts two abandoned children who discover a gingerbread house but get more than they bargained for while venturing inside.

Caroline Woodruff plays both the children's mother and the witch inside the gingerbread house, while Emma-Jean Jeffries portrays Gretel and David Levine plays Hansel.

The show also features music from Andrew Dodge and some excelled set creation by Rachana Jadhav which all builds the atmosphere in the performance.

A range of Oxfordshire villages will be visited by the show during November, December and January, offering the maximum opportunity for people to catch a performance.

The chance to watch this incredibly well-known and loved fairytale performed by a local theatre group will surely prove a real hit among people staying at an Oxfordshire B&B.
